PETITE PARTY FOR MY PRINCESS

Life is a little crazy in the Pretty and Print House these days so when it comes to our own parties they are tending to be sweet and simple. With a family of over 10 cousins they also tend to be just family for the younger years.

Little Miss Tahlia has just turned 2 and rather that trying to choose a specific theme I decided that the theme, the most important one shoud be her! There are so many things that you forget about this age when they grow up so I illustrated a poster (to act as a backdrop) that brought all her little quirks, words, sayings and things she loves together. Everything that makes Tahlia the little confident bundle of loveable energy that she is. 

A reminder in the years to come of all the little things we loved at 2:)

{ A LITTLE TREAT } Editable Santa Letter, To Santa & From Santa...

I discovered a little something for PDF files a little while back and I have been wanting to try it out in something for a while;)

PDF files can do some clever little things and some of them are pretty nifty:)

And when it comes to printables there is a handy little trick that sometimes allows me (depending on the design) to set up and style your printable while YOU can change and personalise the text and details from home and then print them out...

{NEW COLLECTION} A bit of fun and bubbles on a Happy Hens Days

I am not sure if  DH taking all 3 kids for a few hours on a Sunday or the few glasses of bubbles in the sun  is more attractive but I am very much looking forward to a lovely Hens Day tomorrow.

What is even more exciting is that I have designed a complete set of printables for the occassion and I can't wait to do a little bit of a mini shoot of them in action before the rest of the brood arrive;)

The Hen is one of my dear friends from school that I met for the first time over 25 years ago.
Her wedding in December and married life is sure to be absolutely beautiful as is she;)

My Mr 7 is right at that age. The age where he is starting to recognise my hand writing, he wonders why all the pressies under the tree are wrapped in the same paper.  I am slowly but surely running out of ideas for all his questions but always seem to come up with something. One day the innocence will be lost but until then I will hold onto every moment...

I was thinking this year, that I wouldn't need to get little miss 9 months anything for Christmas, she has lots of hand me downs, doesn't really need anything, loves the paper and packaging the best anyway.

{GIVEAWAY} Melbourne Cup Day DIY Fun Photo Props Props

I feel so lucky that some of my dearest friends are those I met at the mothers group I joined when my now 7 year old was born. I know that not all mothers groups stand the test of time but ours has and we are not just MG any more, we are just dear friends and so are our kids, siblings and partners.

It became quite a tradition when the kids were little to have a special Melbourne Cup Luncheon with a few bubbles and yummy food while the kids played or slept and we watched the big race. It brings back such great memories;)

I am so pleased to of reached 150 likers on Pretty and Prints Facebook page and after a beautiful, sunny Spring weekend I would like to celebrate and say thank you to all of you for supporting the start of Pretty and Print with a fun filled GIVEAWAY!

A Festive Sneak Peek {Boutique Design & Pretty Printables}

We are very excited to be helping Life's Little Celebrations celebrate reaching 1000 likers on their Facebook page... what a milestone! I have donated a set of free Christmas Gift Tags and and Chocolate Wrappers. The rest of the matching range will follow soon, with some greetings cards, party circles and buffet labels.

My son and daughter have already decided that the chocolate wrappers would make a great end of year gifts for all their little friends at school and day care. There is even space on the back for them to right their name. I love this idea, it's quick easy, looks great and it's chocolate! The kids will love them;)
